One of the few photos I have from his early years...he is around 10-12 in this school photo. Popular, active and great fun to be around. More like a brother or cousin than an Uncle as he is only 2 years older than I and our Birthdays were close enough together that we often celebrated them as a group with the other December birthdays.
Bill spent some time in the Army, then had several businesses. Hope to get more info about this from his Widow.
Married: Wilma Richardson . Still living. Children- Julie, William, Wayne, "little" Wilma. Grandchildren: Tyler James Hasty, born: July 21, 1984 and Travis Michael Hasty, born: July 3, 1987.

As far as I know right now,, all the children live in the Manito, Pekin area.

for graduating 8th grade, Billy was treated to his favorite Ice Cream soda at Havana Walgreen drug store & soda fountain. His Mom (my gram) Allie Maude.. circa: 1954
Billy went into the Army right out of High School...taken circa 1960--and you gotta love This Smile!!
I did this scrapbook page to go into the album on all the Aunts & Uncles..
This is Bill in his later years circa 1999...on His Mule, Ruthie.... I always thought he was saying Julie!! (his daughter's name) Maybe he was just being Billie and did make some comparisons between "his girls"....
