Lois Georgiann Hasty (Lawrence)-Born:Nov 10, 1919, Chester, Nebraska. Died: April 21, 2002, Havana, Mason co. IllinoisA lively vivacious woman who love to try "new" things. A mother of 3 and unkn # of stepchildren.
I remember the fun of the Brothers picking up her tiny car and setting it on the side walk so she couldn't leave a Family Reunion until she asked for help in getting her car back on the street. (It took 4 of the Uncles to move it)
She owned a restaurant in my home town but I never got any special discounts, even when I offered to do dishes.

Died : Dec 21, 2005 at St. Joseph Health Center in St Charles, MO.. at age 68.
Funeral: Dec 26th, 2005.
Jack was the oldest of Lois's children and I have only one photo of him in my records. His wife is Shelby A. 4 children- Steve,Thaun, Janien and Angela.
Jack was a Evangelical Luthern Minister with 25 years service and lived in Lake St. Louis, Mo. He had a business in Renting to Own household furniture & appliances and for a time owned & operated the Golf course & Country club south of Havana til a fire ruined everything. Member of the Air force from 1954 to 1958.
*note from his sister, Joyce: "It was a shock to us that Jack had a heart attack and died. He apparently had a stroke 4 years ago but had been doing well. The Week end before Don and he had gone goose hunting and he said he felt good. He did have high blood pressure and high cholesterol but was on medication. He was overweight but was very active. There were over 400-500 people there for the service and many stories told which made us all laugh and remember Jack. It was a great celebration of Jack's Life."

The photo was taken in front of their home in Havana, Il. during a visit from his sister & my cousin. Joyce (who came around Halloween time from Albuq. New Mexico.)
Don worked on a large drag line that you see working in coal mines. He married his High School Sweetheart from Bath, Il. Cathlene Fletcher. They have a son, Jeff & a daughter, Lori.
Joyce Ann Lawrence (Rich)
Joyce: Born Dec 3, 1941 currently resides in Albuqurque, New Mexico. In 1989 Joyce came thru on a visit around Halloween Time. She stopped in Petersburg and picked me up for a week end away visiting family and friends. We stayed with her brother, Donnie & wife, Cathy in Havana. Visited with her Mother, Lois at Goofy Ridge and went to a bon fire & weiner roast at Quiver Beach.
We have always been closer than Sisters,,, our birthdays are only one day apart and we have had many celebrations together. Experienced many good times and sad times thru the years and stay in touch regularly
Mother of: Rusty, Rodney, Deanna, Dan & Deborah (Jackson) from her first marriage to Jerry. Stepmother to: Arthur Jr, Scott, Moni and Michael (Rich) when she married Arthur Rich from NM and many Grandchildren.

Rodeo Queen-New Mexico 2007-2008
Isn't she a gorgeous Young lady?? Joyce's GD, Debbie's The Mother. She was back here in Illinois for the USA Rodeo Queen Competition this year.. We Love her and know they didn't pick the best Queen. But what an experience for this Young Lady.. I leave out names and particulars to protect your identity and privacey..
