Vivian was married to a farmer most of her life, Richard Stone. They spent their life together in the Spring Lake, Manito area til his death. Vivian has a Step Daughter, Donna. Her oldest son, Dick past away 2004. A daughter, Nina and 2 other sons. Info not available per family's request.

Richard "Dickie" C. Stone #1

Dickie had polio as a young boy and was always "left" behind in all the cousins rowdy games. He tried his best to keep up but braces on his legs had weakened him. This disability left his health something he had to guard and take care of..all his life. You always saw pens, pencils and glasses in his shirt pocket. I asked him about why he had soo many. "Well, when I can't keep up with you..I can sit and write about what we did." And he pulled a battered notebook out of his back pocket. I wonder where all those "stories" are now???
He lived the latter part of his life with his mother (in Florida) and helped her during her recent illnesses. He lost his battle with life in 2004 (pneumonia?)Pekin, Illinois (hospital). I remember talking to Dickie in 1985 at a Hasty Reunion in Havana, Illinois. We shared many memories of our childhood days, caught up on what times we were separated and Laughed at the Aunts/Uncles as we did when children.

1999 photo...this is that smile and happy times for Viv. I believe she was going thru alot of tests and feared Cancer was part of her life.
Sept 2001 and did have to go thru Cancer treatment. But she (with daughter Nina) came to Lyida's funeral and to the cemetry... Now living in Pekin, on Court Street. 2005. (Gosh, Aunt Viv, you sure look like Grandma (her mother) ).
