Born: March 3, 1926, Fairbury,, Nebraska. Deceased: Feb 26, 2008 age 81, 11 mos. 23 days.
Cut from 1984 family reunion. Dorothy was the 7th child and this was thought to be an extremely fortunate sign with the added "veil" at birth. At least this was her mother's belief and story. Small of bone and petite stature she was always placed ahead of most of the other siblings as the one who would become famous, rich and be the child who fulfilled her mothers wish of a "child Star". Though this never happened, Dorothy was the "beauty" of the family with her Blonde hair & blue eyes.

Obit: Aunt Dorothy passed Feb 26, 2008 while hospitalized for Pneumonia and Complications from Emphezema. Funeral Feb 29th, at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, Ill. Visitation: 1pm. Funeral 2 pm. Interment following at Havana Cemetery off Rt 136 East of Havana .
