He had 1 brother and 1 sister & 5 half brothers or sisters. A farmer in around Southeast Nebraska and Northeast Kansas. Married Mary Emmagean Whitmore at Nebraska. Date ? year? She born in 1862 Decautuer County, Illinois..daughter of John Whitmore of Illinois. She has 1 sister-Rose, 2 brothers-John and Eldon. They were the parents of 3 sons and 6 daughters (Simpson) They both are buried in Fairbury, Nebr. Nebr Cemetery.. and they both died there." Mary E. Dec 1953

Known half sisters: Florence, Mabel and Cora Billings. A half Brother: Alfred Billings.
Luther was raised by his Grandmother, Sara Jane (robinson) Boston was B: 20 Nov 1838 and D: 9 Aug 1920.
Luther became a horse trader and traveled with his family in a covered wagon. They moved from Thayer County, Neb to Smith Conty, Kansas in Sept 1895, then to Oklahoma in Aug 1906, back to Jewell Co, Kanse in Aug 1912. Later they moved to Red Cloud, Neb where Luther oerated a dray wagon with a team of horses for the town of Red Cloud.. The moved to Fairbury, Neb about 1927-28 where he worked for the Huston/Swartz Coal Company til a few years before his death.
